Podcasthon is the world’s largest podcast charity initiative, bringing together podcasters globally to raise awareness for charitable causes. Behind this growing movement are two visionary co-founders: Jérémie Mani and Yves Delnatte.

<a href="https://www.linkedin.com/in/jeremiemani/">Jérémie Mani</a> (<a href="https://www.linkedin.com/in/jeremiemani/">Linkedin profile</a>) is a French entrepreneur with over 20 years of experience in the digital industry. Before dedicating himself entirely to Podcasthon, Jérémie built and sold two successful companies in email marketing and content moderation. After moving to Canada in 2020, during the COVID-19 pandemic, he began reflecting on how he could use his skills to make a meaningful impact. Rather than launching another business, he wanted to create something that would mobilize thousands of people for a greater cause. That’s where Podcasthon was born—a volunteer-driven initiative aimed at uniting the power of podcasting with the needs of charities.

Yves&#8217;s journey has been marked by a commitment to leveraging business as a force for good, which naturally led him to co-found Podcasthon alongside Jérémie. His vision is to harness the intimacy and authenticity of podcasts to drive awareness for important causes, creating a global ripple effect of positive change.

Traditional fundraising methods like charity galas, marathons, and auctions have their limits. They often require large budgets, exclusive access, or short-lived engagement. Meanwhile, charities around the world struggle to reach new audiences and create long-term connections.

Podcasthon started in 2023 with 300 French-speaking podcasters. It grew to over 400 in 2024 and is now expanding worldwide. Our dream? To see Podcasthon become a global tradition, uniting thousands of podcasters in dozens of languages each year.
We believe that &#8220;podcasting for good&#8221; should be more than a buzzword. It should be a movement. By leveraging technology, storytelling, and community engagement, we hope to inspire millions of listeners to care, to act, and to make a difference—one podcast at a time.

On one hand, there is the exceptional listening quality of podcasts. On the other, the urgent need for charitable organizations to raise awareness and connect with a broader circle of supporters.

Funk has no fear – it is in fact a profound celebration of life itself, crossing boundaries, making waves, shaking funky asses everywhere, and loosening the grip of oppression, as its syncopated beats and deep basslines ripple their way around the world, an unstoppable force of nature by which every generation can evolve into something better and more beautiful.

You will recognise it when you hear the chains snapping, the chairs going over, and the people rising up and coming out onto the streets to dance. After you hear this music, you will be fertile with Funk’s imagination. You will blissfully remember the joy of Funk until you leave this green planet.
