The CVNT Collective is trans affirming, pro-choice, anti-fascism, anti-genocide, anti-racism, and intersectional. We believe every person has a right to live with dignity and be treated with respect. The CVNT Collective is a network of crafters that creates hats to strengthen community, raise funds for other non-profit service providers, and foster hope amidst political destabilization. We host workshops on craftivism and fiber arts 101 in partnership with various community organizations local to me in Detroit, MI. Look for more information on workshops on our website! A few words to convince you?
We need help getting the message out about our incredible community of crafters! My board members are ready, willing, and able to help support me with any interview requests that may stem from this! As a group of social activists and community advocates, we love to participate in community organizing events. This would be our first online event as an officially recognized nonprofit! (although it's a few months from now and that may no longer be true) We are very excited about the possibilities of reaching a wider audience & new friends!
