A few words to convince you?

We are excited to participate in Podcasthon because it is a meaningful opportunity to amplify the voices, stories, and realities of Latino families and communities that are often overlooked or oversimplified. At EMBRACE ALL LATINO VOICES, we believe podcasts can help build understanding, human connection, and awareness around the real experiences, strengths, and challenges present across our communities. We are especially motivated to contribute to conversations that go beyond stereotypes. We can speak about the differences between “Latino” and “Hispanic,” the diversity that exists across Latin American countries, and the cultural, linguistic, and historical distinctions that shape each community in unique ways. We can also discuss topics such as immigrant family experiences, multilingual community support, youth leadership, health access, grassroots service, cultural identity, and the importance of serving people with dignity and practical care. For us, participating in Podcasthon is not only about visibility for our organization, but also about creating space for deeper, more informed conversations that help people better understand the richness and complexity of Latino communities.
