WeeShire Mains, Inc.
Neurodiversity Support and Inclusive Agritourism
WeeShire Mains is a small, family-run farm dedicated to creating a relaxed, inclusive space for the neurodivergent community. We focus on building connection through our hand-selected miniature livestock, which are chosen specifically for their gentle temperaments to act as calm companions for visitors with Autism, ADHD, or sensory needs. Our farm is growing through three intentional stages: Seasonal Harvest: We are working hard on our U-Pick blueberries, offering a simple, outdoor activity for families. The Sensory Bin Barn: We are currently planning and building this unique space for tactile discovery. It will feature "hidden wonders" for active play and quiet corners for decompression. Sustainable Future: Our long-term goal is a geothermal greenhouse to provide a sensory-rich, nature-based environment all year round. We are a grassroots project building a sensory sanctuary where families can hang out in a judgment-free environment and experience the simple joy of farm life. A few words to convince you?
We are participating in Podcasthon to share our journey of building a sensory sanctuary and to find a community that values rural accessibility. We know firsthand how vital "hush-hush," sensory-safe spots are for neurodivergent families. We are seeking the support and funding needed to complete our Sensory Bin Barn and eventually our geothermal greenhouse, helping us turn our farm into a permanent, year-round home for discovery and connection.
