▪️ Welcome to my Virtual Coffee Shop.

▪️ I’m your Vanilla Horror©️Host, Michelle, and this is another fresh brewed episode where storytelling and coffee hang out.

▪️ As a super-survivor of trauma & grief, this show is a powerful, creative force for good.

▪️ My podcast is both informative and entertaining; I believe we connect through the power of storytelling.

▪️ For me, drinking coffee and sharing stories feels very comforting and relaxing. ▪️ Join the virtual table & stay for some inspirational tales.

▪️ I’ve learned it’s never too late to follow your dreams.

Podcasthon: raising awareness through podcasting. This is my first time participating in a worldwide charity event with podcasting as the tool.

I was fortunate to have Victoria Price as the epic 100th guest on the show last year. She is an animal lover and animal advocate. Last year Hurricane Helene brought devastation to Hendersonville, North Carolina and she is participating in EverWalk to raise awareness and help animals impacted by the disaster. Last year Price created Hendoween and this year, she is part of EverWalk. This episode is dedicated to all the first responders and animal lovers. Thank you for your support. Please see links to donate. No donation is too small.

EverWalk

Victoria Price's Walk to Help Animal Disaster Relief! This was my godfather, Cleveland Amory, and Friendly (photo). Friendly was one of the thousands of burros Cleveland airlifted from the Grand Canyon before the government slaughtered them. My godfather was an important animal activist, who started the Fund for Animals in the 1960s after he was fired from The Today Show for speaking out against vivisection. I adored Cleveland! He and my godmother Martha inspired me to be an advocate for animals. The Fund for Animals is now part of the Humane World for Animals. (HWA was formerly the Humane Society of the United States.) I am excited to host an EverWalkathon on March 22 in Western North Carolina to raise funds for the HWA Emergency Animal Relief Fund to help animals after disasters -- like Hurricane Helene here in WNC. Please donate whatever you can (every $ helps the animals) to support my walk! Thank you so much!
