Greenpop

Getting active not anxious about the future of our planet. From restoring landscapes and greening urban areas to empowering communities through education and events, Greenpop turns ideas into tangible environmental impact. 40% of the world's land has been degraded by human activity. Widespread land degradation impacts half of the global population, compromising vital ecosystem services like clean air, fresh water and fertile soil. As urban areas expand and wild spaces shrink, communities face diminished quality of life and increased vulnerability to climate change, making sustainable solutions more urgent than ever. Greenpop empowers individuals to engage in optimistic environmental action. Through diverse projects spanning landscape restoration, urban greening, environmental education and impact eventing, we offer tangible opportunities for people to actively participate in restoring vital ecosystems across Southern Africa and beyond.
