Hellenic Voice

Vasoula Christodoulou

Hellenic Voice celebrates Greek Culture. In each episode, we explore literature, poetry, archaeology, theatre, art ,the Greek language, and the connection of Hellenism with other cultures, as well as with Philhellenes around the world.

Episode

In this special episode of Hellenic Voice, I join the global Podcasthon initiative, dedicating our conversation to a meaningful cause. My guest is Olga Papadoiliopoulou, CEO of Nosilia, a nonprofit organization devoted to providing essential healthcare and medical assistance to those in need.

We explore the inspiring journey of Nosilia — from its founding vision to the organization’s current mission, the human stories that remind us why this work matters, and the challenges of delivering healthcare support in today’s world. Olga also shares how individuals can get involved and support the cause, highlighting ways to contribute beyond financial donations.

Listeners will hear a powerful story that reflects the tangible impact of Nosilia’s work, and Olga gives us a glimpse into the organization’s plans and initiatives for the future.

NOSILIA

They are an independent non-profit organisation made up of healthcare professionals from a wide range of specialties. Since 2001, they have been supporting patients with chronic and life-threatening illnesses who are facing financial hardship and mobility challenges. Their care reaches where others often cannot — into the home, into the environment where a person feels safe and maintains their dignity. Their approach is holistic, addressing the physical, emotional and spiritual needs of patients facing life-threatening illness, always guided by the principles of Palliative Care.
