Natalie Sophia Msc. D.

The Sovereign Reality Podcast brings the stories of goddesses to life, guiding women to step into their own power. Each episode dives into a goddess’s story and offers practical rituals, tools, and insights to awaken your inner strength and confidence. For the modern-day goddess ready to reclaim her sovereignty, this is your guide to empowerment, ritual, and transformation.

Episode

Today’s episode of Sovereign Reality with Natalie is part of the 4th annual Podcasthon, where thousands of creators raise awareness for charities doing urgent, essential work. I’m honored to spotlight the work of The Bond Between a 501(c)(3) acting as a shield for animals left behind during Operation Metro Surge in Minnesota.

This episode dives deep into the myth of Persephone as the original blueprint of power stolen, autonomy violated, and sovereignty stripped away. We explore how her ancient trauma echoes in modern systems of force, entitlement, and state-sanctioned Taking.

We talk about the animals left behind during raids, the families ripped apart, and the way patterns of violation repeat across time from the Underworld to the Twin Cities.

The Bond Between provides crisis foster care, emergency intervention, medical support, and safe sanctuary for animals abandoned during these enforcement actions. They honor the bond between humans and their animals, a bond that should never be severed by the Taking.

The Bond Between

The Bond Between is a Minnesota‑based animal welfare nonprofit dedicated to keeping pets and people connected through crisis and uncertainty. Their mission is to support animals and their guardians with compassion, care, and practical resources, especially during difficult life events. They offer respite foster care and humane surrender options so pets can be temporarily housed in loving foster homes while families stabilize, with the goal of reuniting pets with their people whenever possible. They provide emergency pet food kits and supplies at no cost to families facing financial strain, and partner with local shelters and services to ensure pets left behind due to detentions or deportations are cared for, placed in temporary homes, and ultimately find safety and comfort. Their work helps prevent animals from being abandoned, supports owners during crises, and fosters stronger human‑animal bonds across the community.
