Who Are the Co-Founders of Podcasthon and What Drives Us?

Podcasthon is the world’s largest podcast charity initiative, bringing together podcasters globally to raise awareness for charitable causes. Behind this growing movement are two visionary co-founders: Jérémie Mani and Yves Delnatte.

Meet the Co-Founders

Jérémie Mani (Linkedin profile) is a French entrepreneur with over 20 years of experience in the digital industry. Before dedicating himself entirely to Podcasthon, Jérémie built and sold two successful companies in email marketing and content moderation. After moving to Canada in 2020, during the COVID-19 pandemic, he began reflecting on how he could use his skills to make a meaningful impact. Rather than launching another business, he wanted to create something that would mobilize thousands of people for a greater cause. That’s where Podcasthon was born—a volunteer-driven initiative aimed at uniting the power of podcasting with the needs of charities.

Yves Delnatte (Linkedin profile) is a seasoned entrepreneur and investor with a rich background in business development. He has founded and led multiple ventures across various industries, bringing a wealth of experience to the table. Yves’s journey has been marked by a commitment to leveraging business as a force for good, which naturally led him to co-found Podcasthon alongside Jérémie. His vision is to harness the intimacy and authenticity of podcasts to drive awareness for important causes, creating a global ripple effect of positive change.

Our Motivation

Traditional fundraising methods like charity galas, marathons, and auctions have their limits. They often require large budgets, exclusive access, or short-lived engagement. Meanwhile, charities around the world struggle to reach new audiences and create long-term connections.

Our Vision for the Future

Podcasthon started in 2023 with 300 French-speaking podcasters. It grew to over 400 in 2024 and is now expanding worldwide. Our dream? To see Podcasthon become a global tradition, uniting thousands of podcasters in dozens of languages each year.

We believe that “podcasting for good” should be more than a buzzword. It should be a movement. By leveraging technology, storytelling, and community engagement, we hope to inspire millions of listeners to care, to act, and to make a difference—one podcast at a time.

Bacause Podcasts attract a loyal and engaged audience!

On one hand, there is the exceptional listening quality of podcasts. On the other, the urgent need for charitable organizations to raise awareness and connect with a broader circle of supporters.

THE CONCEPT:

The 3rd Edition of Podcasthon will take place from March 15 to 21, 2025! Over 400 podcasts participated in the first edition! In 2025, we expect 1,500+  podcasts from around the world, benefiting just as many charitable organizations.

THE VISION:

The strength of a podcast episode lies in its listening quality and duration. Giving the microphone to so many associations, with such a high level of engagement, allows them to share their stories, challenges, and projects… Conveying emotions to bring associations closer to their future donors and volunteers!

THE GOAL:

To convince as many podcasters as possible, regardless of their language, to dedicate an episode of their show to a charitable organization of their choice!
To promote charitable engagement in all its forms, all around the world!

ALTRUWE, ORGANIZER OF PODCASTHON

Promoting altruism, engagement, and #digitalforgood

Altruwe is a non-profit organization dedicated to promoting altruism as a pragmatic solution to the challenges of the 21st century.

 

Altruwe and Podcasthon were co-founded by Yves (in France) and Jeremie (in Canada), two entrepreneurs eager to use their experience for “podcasting for good.”

 

This duo has become a trio with the addition of Ana! 
Ana Xavier, Podcast Marketing Strategist and Podcast Host, based in USA. She voluntarily and efficiently serves as the Head of Strategic Growth and Global Audience Engagement.

 

The initiative is also publicly endorsed by a diverse array of personalities.
