Mind your Mind

Roxana Parra Sepulveda

At the Mind Your Mind podcast, we introduce the importance of self-care and strategies for preventing burnout among frontline workers. As a psychotherapist and clinical supervisor, I have witnessed first hand the profound impact their demanding jobs have on both, their personal and professional lives. In this podcast, my guests and I share years of experience, expert insights, and practical tips to help first responders, health and care professionals, community service practitioners, advocates, and frontline workers thrive in their careers, rather than succumb to burnout.

Episode

In this special episode of Mind Your Mind, we’re proud to be part of the Podcasthon movement, supporting the Human Values in Healthcare Forum (HVHF)—a powerful initiative dedicated to bringing compassion, ethics, and human-centered care back to the heart of healthcare.

Human Values in Healthcare Forum

The Human Values in Healthcare Forum is a small non-profit organisation with wholly charitable aims. We rely entirely on donations. Our aim is to support those who provide healthcare in any setting to be able to engage and enact their core values in their work. This is crucial as health and social care in many countries are in crisis with a demoralised and overstretched workforce trying to meet rising demands. We strongly endorse justice, inclusivity, compassionate, competent, and person-centred care, combined with wise stewardship of resources. We aim to raise public awareness of practices and systems that both humanise and dehumanise healthcare, as well as some of the ethical challenges in healthcare which arise from the impact of advances in science and technology. Your donation – however small – will help us to run our educational activities and collaborative programmes.
