Starry Sky and Witchy Things

Alexis Neve

The podcast for the star-obsessed girlies who feel that it’s totally normal to hang out sipping French75 while talking about the esoteric at a table overlooking Sloane Square.

Episode

The 7th house is the first of the houses that bring us from the individual sphere to the community, and it’s the one on the axis with the 1st house of Self. The Ascendant is the angle about who you are, and the Descendant is the one about who you attract because of it.

That’s why the big theme of the 7th house is 1:1 relationships, especially ones that come with a legal contract like a marriage or working relationships.

Relationships are a mirror of what we believe about ourselves, and a powerful area of growth, which is why I’m excited to bring you this conversation with Taryn Newton-Gill.

Taryn Newton-Gill is a Conscious Dating & Relationship Coach and Attachment Expert as well as the CEO and Founder of Truer Love, where she helps people attract a loving partner using the psychological framework of Attachment Theory.

She also has a background as a professional matchmaker and life coach and is the host and producer of the Truer Love Stories podcast, where she anonymously coaches real people who are navigating a crossroads in their love life and interviews experts in the fields of relationships, psychology, and personal development.

Women & Girls Network

Women and Girls Network (WGN) was established in 1987 and has spent over 30 years supporting women and girls across London affected by gendered violence. This includes childhood sexual abuse, domestic violence, rape, prostitution (including trafficking and sexual exploitation), female genital mutilation (FGM), and so-called ‘honour’ based crimes such as forced marriage. Our free, women-only and survivor-led service offers a holistic response to women and girls who have experienced, or are at risk of, gendered violence. The aim of our work is to create a safe, non-judgmental and non-directive space in which women and girls can explore their experiences, and know that they will be listened to and believed. WGN is based on feminist principles, which has empowerment as a key concept. We understand that every woman’s healing journey is unique, and our services are designed to offer women the opportunity to travel along on their journey. Our goal is to promote, preserve, and restore the mental health and wellbeing of women and girls, to empower them to make a total and sustainable recovery from the experiences of violence.
